The 2MamaBees Summer Bucket List
Share
Summer flies by—one minute you’re setting up the sprinkler, and the next, you're buying back-to-school supplies. At 2MamaBees, we believe in making the most of the moments in between. That’s why we created this 2MamaBees-inspired summer bucket list—a playful, memory-making guide to help you slow down, connect, and make this season unforgettable.
Whether you’re spending your days in the backyard, sneaking in a few hours of indoor play, or heading out on a weekend adventure, these ideas are built around purposeful play, imagination, and connection—the heart of everything we do.
1. Host a Backyard Picnic (Playhouse Style!)
Grab some snacks, a blanket, and your little one’s favorite stuffed animals and enjoy a meal in the shade of your 2MamaBees playhouse. Bonus points for lemonade and pretend menus!
2. Build a Blanket Fort in Your Montessori Bed
Rainy day? Turn your child’s bed into a cozy hideaway. Add books, flashlights, and maybe even a “no grown-ups allowed” sign.
3. Serve Dinner from the Play Kitchen
Let your little chef take the lead for the evening. Will it be invisible spaghetti or pretend pancakes? Either way, expect second helpings.
4. Make “Mail” for the Playhouse Mailbox
Write notes to each other, decorate envelopes, and drop them in the playhouse mailbox. It’s a sweet way to surprise your child with words of encouragement.
5. Stargaze from the Backyard
Lay on a blanket near playhouse and search for constellations together. Let imaginations run wild as your child tells you what they see in the sky.
6. Take the Swings for a Spin (Again and Again)
There’s something magical about the simplicity of a swing set. Add music, laughter, and maybe a push from grandma—it never gets old.
7. Plant a Mini Garden in your Playhouse Window Box
Let your child help plant herbs or flowers near in the window box. Watering becomes part of the routine—and so does watching something grow.
8. Make a Time Capsule Together
Collect small treasures, drawings, and photos from the summer and bury (or hide) them to open next year. Add a note from you to your child—they’ll never forget it.
9. Have a Screen-Free Saturday
Pick a day to fully unplug. Let your child lead the way with ideas—from dress-up play to nature walks to playhouse adventures.
10. Capture It All
Set up a “Summer Memory Wall” with printed photos of your child playing, exploring, and just being a kid. Let them help choose the moments that matter most.
Summer doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful. It’s the little moments—the pretend picnics, the barefoot mornings, the giggles from the swing set—that stick with us.
So here’s your reminder: slow down, play more, and savor the season.
