This playhouse is absolutely adorable! It is very high quality, and it has definitely met (if not exceeded) my expectations. The cedar window boxes make such a nice touch! As the sellers will tell you, the pieces are coated with Vaseline for protection during shipping. Wiping off the Vaseline with water and vinegar does work, but the process of wiping it off is a little time consuming. My husband (who assembled the playhouse) said that it would have been easier to have had a second person to assist during the building process (which I believe is mentioned in the directions). Our only real critique though is that many of the pieces were not labeled, so it was sometimes hard to figure out which piece was which. That being said, we are SO happy with this purchase - it really isn’t like any other playhouses on the market.
